Paralegals

Kim Joneskjones@green-law.com

After graduating from Montgomery County Joint Vocational School, Legal Secretary program in 1982, Kim began working with a law firm practicing in general areas of divorce, bankruptcy, personal injury and workers' compensation until 1986. Taking a break from the legal field from 1986 to 1992, Kim worked for the airline industry in customer service. Returning to the legal field in 1992 through the present, Kim has worked with firms practicing in the areas of probate, tax and estate planning, employment, general corporate areas including mergers and acquisitions and SEC filings, workers' compensation (employer and employee representation), insurance coverage, and litigation including product liability, construction, and personal injury.

Kim has been a Notary Public for the State of Ohio since 1991.

Melinda Holloway - mholloway@green-law.com

Melinda became an OSBA Certified Paralegal in July 2008. The certification process consists of a written exam administered by the Ohio State Bar Association, as well as educational and work experience requirements, and continuing legal education. Certification is a voluntary credentialing program that requires a high level of substantive involvement in the paralegal profession. Melinda graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associates Degree, Legal Assisting in 1997, and received her BA summa cum laude in 2007 from Capital University in Professional Studies (Paralegal and Political Science).

Melinda has been a Notary Public for the State of Ohio since 1995.

Trina McPherson - tmcpherson@green-law.com

Trina attended Sinclair Community College with interest in Paralegal Studies and
graduated from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies in 1983. She has been employed in the legal field since 1981. She is a senior paralegal with focus on complex litigation in areas of environmental issues, toxic torts, employment, personal injury, construction, and prosecution of claims involving catastrophic injury, professional negligence, and medical negligence. She is involved in and manages community service projects personally and for firm for Special Olympics, American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer, The Humane Society of Greater Dayton, Muscular Dystrophy, and other local charities.

Trina has been a Notary Public for the State of Ohio since 2001.

Stephanie Silence - ssilence@green-law.com

Stephanie began her legal career in 1989 and has been employed with Green & Green, Lawyers since 1994. She has experience in personal injury, worker’s compensation, employment, product liability, construction and insurance defense cases. Her work includes preparing documents for mediation and trial and has assisted the attorneys as a trial paralegal. She attended Sinclair Community College from 1992 to 1994 in Paralegal studies.
